2) Key Information for 2025 OCR A level Maths Exam
When is the OCR A level maths exam?
Paper 1 is on Wednesday 4th June 2025, paper 2 is on Thursday 12th June 2025 and paper 3 is on Thursday 19th June 2025.

Can you use a formula booklet?
Any formulae that are given are on the first two pages of the exam paper.

How many exams do you sit for OCR A level maths?
Three. Each paper is 2 hours long.
Paper 1 assesses pure maths.
Paper 2 assesses pure maths and statistics. There are two sections in this paper; one for pure and one for statistics.
Paper 3 assesses pure maths and mechanics. There are also two sections in this paper.

Is there coursework for A level OCR maths?
No.

Can you use a graphical calculator?
Yes. Most students that use a graphical calculator have the model fx-CG50.
